Building up your street cred when you’re a puppy can be difficult. You know that one day you’re going to grow up and be a huge – and in this case, extremely furry – dog, but right now, you’re so small that no one takes you seriously! It’s kind of like that scene in The Lion King when Simba attempts to scare the other animals with his “roar.”
So, to successfully get people to know that you’re not the kind of pup who takes life sitting down, you have to pick your battles and slowly, but surely, let all the other dogs on the block know just how tough you really are.
The puppy in this video is establishing his street cred by taking on a lemon. Now, this might not seem like the most impressive subject, but remember guys, lemons can be like, really, really sour.
After a few minutes of roughing the lemon up, the pup takes to barking at it. For those of you who don’t speak dog, we’ll just say that if we were that lemon, we’d be shaking in our boots.
