If you’re like a lot of the world, you probably don’t think farm animals have much personality. You’ve been taught to assume that they’re dumb animals who run on instinct. But let this little clip dispel some of those myths.
This little goat is as playful as your puppy, and this huge pig is as patient as a friendly St. Bernard. We’ve all seen clips like this with dogs and cats. We’ve seen the little kittens clustered all over some remarkably patient (or maybe terrified) dog. But here, you have the same dynamic with a baby goat and a pig.
Whether we call them farm animals or pets, there really is not much difference. It’s just our label that we stick on them. The label tells us more about how we see the animals than how the animals actually are. Goats and pigs can be members of our families just as much as cats and dogs, if we only welcomed them in.
Lovely video – I grew up on a farm with cows, goats, horses, chickens and ducks – all intelligent and loving. The main problem is that they don,t speak a human language, but they sure do communicate.
I love this video….its unfortunate however, that the ad popup–is for Gourmet Meat Deliveries…….i\’m totally repulsed… that says Humans…alright-….might check on that
