In this video, filmed by Save The Elephants intern Karunya Prasad, you will be treated to the touching sight of two adorable baby elephants finding their mothers! It seems that these intrepid explorers wandered a bit too far away from their herd.
At the start of the video, the little elephants can be seen wandering disconsolately over the sand, with their heads hung low. However, that all changes as soon as they catch sight of their mothers. One of the babies lifts his trunk – almost as though waving hello – and with that, he and his friend are off!
And when they dive straight into the water, to be greeted by the loving embrace of their moms … the beauty of it all is nearly too much to take. But if you think you can handle the cuteness, then click on the video and prepare to say “aw”!
