New York City - June 30, 2019: Honoring the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots during the Pride Parade and WorldPride in Manhattan.

In a shocking move, the U.S. National Park Service has erased transgender people from the history of the Stonewall Uprising, a defining moment in LGBTQ+ rights. Key figures like Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera—trans activists who led the charge—have been removed from official records. Even the term “queer” has been wiped away.

This is an intentional act of erasure, an attempt to rewrite history and push trans voices out of the LGBTQ+ movement. We cannot allow this. Sign the petition now!
