The 90s show collaborated with the gender-neutral footwear brand Koi to bring the personalities of the Teletubbies to life on shoes! Tinky-Winky, Laa-Laa, Dipsy, and Po each have their open shoes in their respective colors, purple, green, yellow, and red. There are also other popping designs, including the Limited Edition Naughty Noo Noo Boots, which pay tribute to the infamous vacuum cleaner on the show.
Koi even created an ultimate tribute shoe to Dipsy called the Tubbytronic Dipsy Boots. The shoes feature a green trim and chain with their own Dipsy head.

Koi CEO, Uzair Ahmad, said of the partnership, “We know our customers grew up watching the Teletubbies so we wanted to appeal to their inner child and that nostalgia factor but with a modern spin to make it more palatable and exciting for adults who watched the show.”
“We created a collection that truly reflects the essence of each character which was not only talkable but also stayed true to our ethos.”
“As always, the range had to have a shock factor and it also represents the intrinsically weird and wacky energy of Koi- something that we know resonates with our audience.”
If you have the choice, why not choose vegan and cruelty-free? Large fashion brands are making it easier for consumers to choose ethical options. While some may argue that it’s difficult to shop sustainably when buying new clothes, bold and socially-conscious brands like Tiny Rescue are starting to make a mark by creating activism-focused recycled sweatshirts and tees for the gen-z market. Hopefully, at some point, vegan shoes and clothes will become the norm!
