Priyakshi Sarma received her Masters Degree in Environmental Science from Tezpur Central University, in Assam, India. After graduation, she was a Research Fellow for the Tea Research Association at the Tocklai Experimental Station in Jorhat, Assam, India where she worked on biocontrol of tea weeds and developing a decision support system framework for tea production. Since 2012 she has been volunteer at Rainforest Partnership in Austin, Texas.
