Here at One Green Planet, we’d usually say makeup has no place on a bunny’s face, but in this case, we’ll make an exception.
Last week, Tumblr user “anditslove” posted a video of her cute brown-and-white bunny Luna eating some juicy red raspberries which left a lipstick-like stain on her fuzzy face. To her surprise, the clip went ultra viral, even receiving a nod from Ellen DeGeneres.
Anditslove also shared a lesser-known clip of Luna eating blackberries, which she prefers over the red counterpart. These, of course, leave her with a darker stain around the mouth — maybe she’s a goth bunny at heart (there’s an Echo and the Bunnymen joke in there somewhere).
Hey, if you like Luna’s glamorous look, you can make your own raspberry lip stain with natural ingredients (much prettier and cheaper than the artificial raspberry-colored lipstick found at department stores). I guess technically the raspberries were tested on animals, but Luna didn’t mind!
