We are endlessly amazed by people who go to extraordinary lengths to rescue animals. No matter how terrible the situation may be, we have seen kind humans come to save the day for animals of all shapes and sizes. But, rescuing animals from lives of cruelty in factory farms or pet mills is only half the battle. Animals, like humans, can suffer severe emotional distress and mental trauma from being trapped in those places. Luckily animals, also like humans, can be taught to accept and love humans again through rehabilitation, good food, and plenty of wide open space.
If you’re wondering what this rescue and rehabilitation process looks like – check out this video! All of these little ones have been saved from life on farms where they were being raised for slaughter. Before rescue, they never knew an inkling of human kindness, but now that they are in the care of Santuario Igualdad Interespecie, they are thriving thanks to all the love and TLC!
Don’t you just love the fact that these three sheep have sweaters! It really pushes home the fact that these animals are loved.
