Meet the Luckiest Rescue Dog in NYC

We just love it when the sad stories of homeless animals turn into a bonafide Cinderella story. This is precisely what happened for Rincon, the beagle who was discovered wandering the streets of Puerto Rico. While lost and all alone, Rincon probably made a wish to his fairy-dog-mother that one day he would be pulled from a life struggling to find food and sleeping in the gutter by a kind group of humans.

Like Cinderella, one magical day – Rincon’s dreams came true! Clearly, the fairy-dog-mother who was looking out for this little pooch thought after living through so much pain, Rincon deserved a very special family. Where Cinderella had a pack of little mice friends to get her through the tough times … here is the family that Rincon got.

Yes, little Rincon was adopted by model Julian Schratter.

Who just happens to live with two other model friends.

Schratter’s nickname for Rincon is “Mooks.” What a lucky little dog. 

“It was love at first site, and very impromptu. I’d had no earlier inclination to get a dog, but I saw Mooks (Rincon) and picked him up right then and there.” says Schratter.

Like any proud pet parent, Schratter created an Instagram for his new best friend. 

Rincon has seemly adjusted flawlessly to living with a pack of models.

He’s certainly picked up a few tips about how to show off his best angles.

His humans might be ridiculously good looking … but they haven’t got a thing on Rincon.

 Unsurprisingly, Rincon’s Instagram account has gone a bit viral.  According to Schratter, Rincon’s really not into the fame.

He’s just happy he’s found a loving family to take care of him. If this isn’t the best Adopt, Don’t Shop ad … we don’t know what is.
