First off, you need a cozy, soft bed. Next, lots and lots of cuddles. Basically endless cuddles. Seriously, like, don’t stop. Never stop. Throw in some kisses, too. Kisses are nice. Then comes blanket time. Gotta keep the old bones toasty and warm, don’t you know? Tuck him in tight, so he feels safe and secure. Throw in a few more cuddles, and a pat on the head just to be safe.
If your old pal isn’t quite sleepy yet, maybe that’s a good opportunity for a bedtime story? Yep, that’ll do the trick. Before you know it, your furry old timer is yawning away and then … snoring a little.
