The story of Raj the dog is truly tragic. This poor pup spent at least three years of his life chained up in a backyard in Las Vegas, New Mexico with three other dogs. At some point, all of the dogs were poisoned by their cruel owner and Raj was the only one to survive. As a result of this trauma and neglect, Raj is now completely blind.
Luckily, he was rescued from this hellish existence and the shelter caring for him did everything they could to help him find a forever home. Raj’s story eventual made it onto national news outlets, but he still, no one came to adopt him.
Raj waited for good news in the shelter for months, but his luck changed when the Goslow’s showed up just last week and snatched him up! This well-deserving puppy is now in a happy home with two people who love him. When he’s not running around in the backyard and napping in new and exciting places, he’s being stroked and petted in his new parent’s laps. Truly the kind of life that he always deserved!
