This goes very well with roast sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli, but also makes a great fresh dip for crudité, or as a spread on toast. The fresh taste of the peas really shines, so if you are not a fan of these guys…just add more garlic and enjoy the green goodness! Sweet Pea Hummus [Vegan]

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C frozen peas, defrosted
  • 1 T fresh basil
  • 4 leaves fresh mint
  • 2 T tahini
  • 2 T nutritional yeast
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 T extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender or small bowl food processor.  Blend to desired consistency.  Devour.
