How to Prepare Hibiscus and Rose Cordial [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

  1. Add the dried flowers, water, and agave into a saucepan and bring it to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and bring it to a low simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. In the meanwhile, sterilize a glass bottle with boiling water and dry it with a kitchen towel. After 30 minutes of simmering, take the cordial off the heat, stir in the lime juice, and leave the cordial to cool for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Use a cheesecloth or kitchen cloth and a funnel to strain the cordial into the sterilized bottle.
  5. Taste it and add more agave if desired. Serve cold with sparkling water.
