A new vegan grocery store is opening just in time for Earth Day this year, giving anyone who loves vegan food in Florida even more to celebrate. Vegan Fine Foods will offer an array of handpicked plant-based products from local, national, and international sources. The South Florida location states on their website that their product selection is designed to appeal to a variety of customers, including those seeking tasty plant-based alternatives, fresh produce, organic and natural products, and even those looking for dairy-free and vegan pastries and desserts.
Vegan Fine Foods, however, has a lot more to offer than just a vegan marketplace. The store also features Inika Café, a vegan cafe serving up delicious and healthy cuisines from all over the world. The café offers a wide variety of options from burgers, salads, pitas, Açaí Bowls, smoothies, coffee, pastries and so much more. As if that weren’t enough, you can then top it all off with a vegan and dairy-free frozen yogurt from Pinkberry, which has a location right within the store.
The opening of yet another vegan grocery store is a testimony of how the national market is shifting to more meat-free and dairy-free alternatives. It’s certainly no surprise considering consumers becoming more aware of the health, animal, and environmental concerns surrounding the consumption of animal products. Considering around 40 percent of Americans choose to eat plant-based meals when they eat out, it’s no surprise that consumers are now looking to bring plant-based eating into their homes.
