The world is filled with the unseen, from the dangers hidden in everyday foods we eat and the products we use to bathe to the mysteries of the once lush rainforests, where orangutans and other species are disappearing tree by tree.

While we may carry on our days with a blind eye to what’s happening in other parts of the world, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is hoping to change this.

With a new video that unfolds in the style of a movie trailer, the WWF wants us to wake up and start paying attention to how the products and foods we purchase contribute to the largely unseen destruction of forests and wildlife habitat and the displacement of indigenous people.

In the WWF’s “Unseen” trailer below, we follow protagonist Jack Crawford who is just a normal guy before he discovers the truth — the truth about palm oil, that is.
