Just 10 Days Ago, You Could Barely Tell This Dog Was a Dog Thanks to Matted Fur – But Look at Him Now (VIDEO)

Remember Grohl? Just ten days ago, Grohl was blinded by matted fur, had a maggot-infestation and was emaciated. When we first shared his rescue by Trio Animal Foundation, the medical team could only shave off the belly/groin area because his heart rate was too erratic and the team couldn’t risk him going into cardiac arrest.

Maggots had already started eating away at Grohl’s skin, but that wasn’t even the worst part of the infestation. The maggots made a hole through his face to his sinus cavity.

Well … now look at him! Trio Animal Foundation shared a video update on this sweet boy and we can’t believe our eyes. Now that Grohl has been shaved down and received some much needed TLC, he honestly doesn’t even look like the same dog! We especially love seeing him play with toys at the end of the video.
