These Australian shepherd puppies clearly don’t know how to handle a set of odd looking intruders in their yard. One timid pup attempts to investigate the flock, but ends up walking away in fear. Another puppy sibling works up enough courage to pounce and bark at the infiltrators. No matter which doggie sibling gets the closest, they have definitely reached the consensus that the animals are definitely NOT a weird looking breed of dog. That’s when they decide to do something about it (or at least try to.)
After trying to herd the little ducklings, the little pups learn that they haven’t quite honed their herding skills. That’s where mom comes in and shows them how it’s done! She is easily able to coax movement out of the ducklings and herds them around the yard. The puppies, now a little bit more enlightened about their herding instincts, follow mom’s orders and eventually start herding the ducks, too!
