It’s nap time at the Creature Comforts Pet Resort in Angola, N.Y., and this cute little Basenji pup seems to have mistaken a spotted Great Dane for a dog bed. What a surprise when the pup tries to get settled, only to slide down the Great Dane’s concave belly.

After the initial shock, the pup went back for another ride, and then another. Check out his wagging tail — it almost looks like he forgot about his nap after all and just wants to play. But in the end, he finds a strategy to stay up.

The Great Dane remains stoic throughout the whole episode, as older dogs tend to do with puppies. Or perhaps he just had better luck slipping into a deep sleep.
