Frozen Kitten Brought Back to Life (PHOTOS)

Frosty the kitten was on the brink of death when good samaritan Dara Taylor found him on her way to work last Monday.

As Taylor was driving down one Ohio road, she spotted a block of dirty ice in the middle of the road. However, once she got a little closer, she realized that it wasn’t a piece of ice at all.

“I thought it was a chunk of ice in the middle of the road,” Taylor said. “When I got closer, it moved. That freaked me out.”

Taylor immediately stopped the car and got out to rescue the five-month-old kitten, who was frozen solid to a block of ice.

“As I got out of the car, I could hear him meowing so loudly and pitifully and his little heart was beating so fast,” she said.

Taylor rushed him to Friendship Animal Protective League in Elyria, Ohio, and staff members began warming him as best they could, later naming him Frosty.

Due to his condition, Frosty was initially unable to open his eyes.

But after some time, love and much-need warmth…

He finally opened his eyes and saw the world anew, experiencing the very first day of the rest of his brand new life.

Thanks to Taylor, Frosty will be able to have a better life, and after Friendship Animal Protective League treats him for a respiratory infection, he will make a full recovery and be ready for adoption!
