Rescue Dogs Rock is asking for help to save the life of a poor dog named Chelsea.
Chelsea was found listless on the streets of South Texas just yesterday. She is so weak that she can’t move, and when she was reported, she was found just lying there on the hot, dirty ground, with no interest in anything at all.
Chelsea is dangerously emaciated, hairless, and the color of stone as a result of her malnourishment. She is also covered in ticks and fleas. It’s obvious just by looking at this poor little girl that she has been severely abused and neglected. Chelsea is going to need immediate life-saving medical care if she is going to stand a chance to get through this at all.

No dog deserves to be left to get into this condition. There are around 70 million homeless cats and dogs on the streets of America alone. These poor animals have to fend for themselves, often facing abuse from people who like taunting animals for fun, or other vulnerable animals just as scared as they are themselves. They have to forage for food and water, rarely have shelter, and if they suffer an injury, have no one to turn to for help.
Dogs like poor Chelsea get to the point where they’ve just given up. If all they’ve known is cruelty and discomfort, and there is no warm place to sleep or end to their hunger in sight, what else are they supposed to do but lie there and hope for it all to end? We have got to become a nation of adopters to give these beautiful dogs the happiness, love, and homes they all deserve so much.
Rescue Dogs Rock works tirelessly to save dogs like Chelsea. Their mission is to raise awareness of the ever-growing plight of homeless animals in this country, both in shelters and those dumped on our streets. If you are in a position to Donate, would like to follow Chelsea’s recovery, or just want to know more about the incredible work Rescue Dogs Rock does, please check out their Facebook page.
