Breathtaking Photos Capture a Dog’s Adventures in the Most Beautiful Places in the USA

Hitting the open road and taking in all that this crazy, beautiful world has to offer can be one of the most profound and freeing experiences a person can have. Especially if they include their rescued best buddy in the adventures too.

Which is exactly what illustrator John Stortz decided to do after rescuing his husky from a shelter. Traveling the southwestern United States for the last two years as a dynamic duo, John and Wolf have documented their travels on Instagram and Tumblr. Be it a stunning mountain vista, a mysterious cave or even the Hollywood sign, these two have explored it: together.

Each photo not only captures the beauty of the landscape, but also the obvious affection Stortz has for his travel companion. Captioning one of the photos, “Good people, a good view and a half obedient mutt are about all you could ever ask for,” it’s obvious that these two are the perfect pair to take on the world.
