We often take for granted the mobility most of us enjoy: the freedom to walk, run, jump and play. For a street dog in India, however, when this mobility is taken away, it is usually a death sentence. Thankfully, a sweet boy named Robert was saved from this fate when he was rescued by the Animal Aid Unlimited team. The poor baby sustained a huge injury to his back that prevented him from being able to move his back legs.
Thankfully, Robert was taken to the Animal Aid facility for treatment and rehabilitation. His dedicated caretakers made it their mission to see this angel walk again. They used massage techniques and physiotherapy for almost two months until the day came. Robert could not only walk again, but he could also jog! Looking at the joy in his precious eyes, it was evident that while he went through a physical transformation his spirit was also transformed. He was finally happy and loved.
All animals, whether dog, cat, pig, bird, or reptile deserve to be shown compassion and respect. Thanks to Animal Aid, countless street animals are given that. To help them save more animals like Robert, click here.
