Dogs want nothing more than to be loved and to be helpful. These two traits make them quick studies and enables them to learn amazing tricks. And we’re talking about going beyond the typical “sit,” “fetch,” and “roll over” to unbelievably amazing feats.
The dog in this video has learned how to not only hold the rope – but turn it as well – for a game of jump rope! And the most amazing part about it is that he doesn’t look as if he was even formally trained – it just kind of … clicked for him after watching the neighborhood kids play for long enough!
It really seems like dogs can learn to do anything. We’ve seen a dog learn to rock a baby cradle and now we have one who can jump rope with kids. Maybe next we’ll have a dog that can help children with algebra or use a cell phone!
