Company Releases Shoes Made From Recycled Sex Toys

A company that makes shoes from recycled sex toys has just announced the release of their third variant of the shoe called “Crème Brûleé”.

Adult sex toy company Doc Johnson partnered with Rose in Good Faith to design the sneaker called Plastic Soul. The new color makes it the third shoe that the company has made, and there will be a limited 400 pairs available, according to a company press release.

“Not only fashionable, the ‘Plastic Soul’ is infused with a purpose to promote sex positivity as part of Doc Johnson’s global movement to destigmatize sexual health and wellness,” the company said.

Each shoe is made from material rendered from the upcycle of adult sex toys that are deemed damaged or defective through manufacturing. The adult toys reportedly are ground down into tiny cubes and mixed with non-bleach EVA foam, and then injected and molded to form the shoe. The shoe is designed with raised arches at the footbed for optimal Support and natural cork insoles for comfort.
