For all you Green Monsters out there who love cute animal videos (um … that would be every single one of you), you’re in for a treat! We have just come across what may be the cutest animal video in the history of the world, ever.

This one-minute long clip of a baby elephant learning how to use her trunk has an adorable factor that’s almost too high to endure. She is part of a group the WWF describes as “an elite team of critically endangered Sumatran elephants that help protect communities from conflict with wild elephants in Indonesia.”

The Sumatran elephant is currently under threat because of poaching, deforestation, and habitat loss. Sadly, the WWF reports that elephant numbers in the Riau province of Sumatra have declined by an unbelievable 80 percent in the past twenty-five years, “confining some herds to small forest patches,” while the amount of elephant herds in the country’s Lampung province has been reduced from twelve to three in the same time frame.

If you want to help these elephants, why not donate to support the WWF’s conservation work? You can also check out our in-depth article on poaching and wildlife crime for more information.
