Turkeys have feelings too, and in the video above, Tomoko the turkey sure shows it.
On a visit to Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary, Amy the human meets Tomoko and strikes up a friendly conversation with the turkey. They talked about the weather and friendship before Amy had to leave.
Tomoko, among the other turkeys at the sanctuary, were rescued from cruelty cases and they now reside happily at Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. They will only know freedom and happiness for the rest of their lives, while being able to meet kind-hearted visitors all the time. These turkeys must feel like celebrities, and must get so many interviews.
In this particular Q & A, watch Tomoko’s reaction when Amy tells her that she has to go now. Who knew turkeys understood the human language?! Or at least, Tomoko sure does.

Innocent animals are incomparably better than humans. Their emotions are transparent, even when the animals are instinctively destructive, small, big, poisonous or mighty strong. But when they are gentle and innocent, the only comparison that can be made is that with a newly born human child, who is pure. May all animals in the world always be safer from every human being who intends to destroy or torture them, contaminate or annihilate their habitats and manipulates genes of animals to cause harm to animals’ future generations. We owe it to animals to protect their lives and well-being.
