Ginny Messina is a dietitian specializing in vegan nutrition, and the co-author of Vegan for Life: Everything You Need to Know to be Healthy and Fit on a Plant-Based Diet. Ginny was a dietetics instructor at Central Michigan University and a dietitian for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and is a former co-author of the American Dietetic Association’s position on vegetarian diets.

She writes about a variety of issues related to health and animal rights on her blog TheVeganRD, as the National Vegan Examiner at Examiner.com, and of course on One Green Planet!
