Lifestyle brands from cleaning products to baby products and cosmetics are all moving in a more natural, cruelty-free direction. A recently launched brand that is both vegan and cruelty-free is Róen Beauty, created by Nikki DeRoest, highly praised celebrity, Fashion, and editorial makeup artist.

DeRoest has done makeup for celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Emma Roberts, and Bella Hadid. She’s always in such high demand because she creates flawless looks that always have a hint of sparkle. Interestingly enough, the sparkle that celebrities loved so much was a natural, homemade product called Nikki Dust. This sparkly eyeshadow birthed the idea of her recently launched line, Róen Beauty.

The products are vegan, but not only do they not contain animal ingredients, they weren’t tested on animals. The products were tested on celebrities on the red carpet who asked DeRoest to use her homemade eyeshadow on them. She says, “I made this for myself as much as my clients. This is what was missing in my makeup kit.”

Róen Beauty is also gluten-free, made with natural ingredients, and original formulas. As DeRoest says, “Beauty doesn’t have to be difficult or tricky,” so hopefully seeing celebrities use simply made products will help others see that you don’t need products with tons of chemicals or tested on animals!
