Interviews with over 30 HCA Healthcare doctors and nurses revealed that the healthcare giant routinely pushes patients to hospice intentionally to boost its company metrics. By pushing patients to end-of-life care, HCA lowers its in-hospital mortality rates, reduces money spent on proper robust healthcare treatments, and frees up bed space for a new patient to bring in more money from insurance. This isn’t just typical corrupt or greedy company behavior – this could result in the death of patients who still have a chance to live. Please sign this petition to urge the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services to investigate HCA Healthcare and these horrific claims!

2. Tell American Airlines to Review Company Policy About Breastfeeding

A woman who was breastfeeding her child on an American Airlines flight was asked to cover up because “there were men and children around.” When the passenger proceeded to tell the flight attendant that her daughter won’t eat or sleep while covered, the attendant kept repeating that it was the only option because it is “common courtesy.” In what world is making a baby go hungry “common courtesy?” Please sign this petition to urge American Airlines to investigate this incident and review company policy to ensure this never happens again!

3. Help Pardon Woman Who Gave Her Daughter Abortion Pills

A woman in Nebraska has been charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor for helping her 17-year-old daughter have an abortion. The daughter, who was legally a minor at the time of the abortion, is now being charged as an adult. She faces up to two years in prison. As if all that wasn’t enough, police secured evidence by looking at the mother and daughter’s Facebook messages. Please sign this petition to demand Governor Jim Pillen pardon this woman and ensure she and her daughter are given access to therapy and Support!

4. Help Save Maui’s Animals and Help Restore the Island’s Natural Harmony

Early reports suggest that over 20,000 animals, ranging from household pets to indigenous wildlife, have been affected by Maui’s wildfire. The lush habitats that these animals once called home are now barren wastelands.

With such a significant number of impacted animals, the delicate balance of Maui’s ecosystems is threatened. These creatures play pivotal roles in pollination, seed dispersion, and other ecological functions. Their absence or decline can have cascading effects that harm the environment and other species that depend on them.

5. Urge Authorities to Research Mysterious Whale Deaths in Australia

Recently, beachgoers at Cheynes Beach in Western Australia were met with a horrific sight. Nearly 100 long-finned pilot whales mysteriously beached themselves. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, either. Mass strandings of whales in Australia are not uncommon. Just recently, 54 whales died on a beach in Scotland under similar circumstances. These incidents highlight the critical need for research into this string of bizarre whale behavior to prevent future tragedies. 6. Help End Commercial Whaling in Iceland

Vacationers on a cruise ship were reminded of the horrors of whaling when they took port at the Faroe Islands amid a whale slaughter. The 1,000+ passengers entered the bay to find red waters and whalers rounding up the majestic animals to be hunted.

Whales are incredibly intelligent, playful creatures. They communicate and socialize in complex ways, and some whales are even known for producing bubble rings or bubble nets to forage for food. These magnificent sea creatures can feel pain and deserve safety from brutal slaughter for profit. Please sign this petition to demand that Iceland ban commercial whaling! 

7. Help Save the Prairie-Chicken and Northern Long-Eared Bat

Congress has just tragically denied two more species protections under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The Lesser prairie-chicken and Northern long-eared bat have both experienced dangerous population declines, but anti-wildlife politicians used the Congressional Review Act to block them from being listed under the ESA. Please sign this petition to tell President Joe Biden to veto the Congressional Review Act to save these adorable species!

8. Demand the European Commission Uphold the Ban on the Use of Animals in Cosmetics Testing

Amidst pressure from Animal rights advocates, the European Commission has finally announced its plan to phase out the use of animals in experiments and chemical testing!

But some experts are worried about a glaring omission. The European Commission has made no commitments to uphold the EU ban on animal testing for cosmetics, which was passed over ten years ago. This ban is the cornerstone of EU policy to protect animals from unnecessary harm and abuse — and it can’t be overlooked.

9. Demand Pennsylvania Ban Exotic Animal Ownership

An adorable alligator named Fluffy was rescued from a creek in Pennsylvania, many miles away from typical crocodile or alligator habitat.

Fluffy’s human had been keeping her trapped in a 75-gallon tank, which is torture for an animal of her size. Reptile experts said that Fluffy was both underweight and was showing signs of deformities around her mouth.

She was 10 years old and only 2.5 feet long. Typically, alligators her age are at least six feet. This type of stunted growth is almost certainly the result of years of abuse and malnourishment, which is exactly why civilians should not own exotic animals in the first place.

10. Tell Craigslist to Close the Animal Rehoming Loophole

If you’ve ever browsed the classified ads on Craigslist, you know that you can buy practically anything your heart desires on the website. Unfortunately, one Chicago man’s evil desire was to violently torture and kill kittens – and he used Craiglist to find his innocent, tiny victims.

It’s unclear how this horrifying pattern started, but by the time the 22-year-old was caught and stopped, he had killed at least 6 kittens. Some of their mutilated bodies were still in his house; police found them stuffed uncaringly in a bag in the pantry.

This man would drown a poor kitten in his bathtub, and then buy another one on Craigslist so as not to draw suspicion. Then, he’d do the whole sadistic routine over again — except, maybe this time, he would microwave the next kitten.

Craigslist technically prohibits the sale of animals on its website, but there is a “rehoming” loophole that people constantly abuse. For the sake of every animal listed on Craigslist, this loophole must be sealed tight!

Please sign this petition to demand that the CEO of Craigslist address this concerning situation by closing the animal rehoming loophole!
