Sarah Blaine, Mahouts Foundation

Sarah Blaine is the founder of Mahouts Foundation. A family run charity working to improve welfare with captive Elephants working in the tourist industry. We work on the ground in Thailand active in both rescues and ongoing research. We raise awareness in the UK working with tour companies and educating tourists visiting Asia. The foundation is proud to be part of an international team working towards the opening of Europe’s first retirement home for Elephants.
