Dogs are pretty impressive. They can fetch the morning paper, welcome us home, and even help carry our books. Our furry companions are loyal, loving, and are happy that they’re a part of your family.
In addition to this, the benefits of having a companion animal is never-ending. They help improve our health and they can help us become a better person. They do so much for us, and in return, we give them toys, treats, and lots of hugs and kisses. We spoil them to no end, and treat them like royal doggie princesses and princes.
So, what’s a dog to do to say thanks? Well, for one, they can knock us down with lots of kisses. Or they can try to communicate with us — by speaking human. Some learn to say “I love you,” or more like “I ruff roo.”
And if you haven’t seen a dog say that, check out Dee, an eight-month-old doberman puppy, who says it well here.
People say that kids watch and listen to everything their parents say and do, even things the adults might not want them to see. This applies to our pups and other furry friends too!
Watch the video above of Mishka the Siberian Husky learning to say 12 different words, including “Obama” from her human dad! Afterwards, check out the other videos of dogs saying humanly things. It’s irresistible, guaranteed!

My Aussie Noel (who passed in 2011 at the age of 17) used to say ‘nope’! when asked to do things she didn’t want to do. That’s because when she was a puppy I’d say to her, “You don’t want to do this, do you? Nope!” I swear she picked it up from that!
