Cute TikTok Video Shows Husky Trying to Wake Up Deaf Brother

An adorable video shared to the TikTok account @courtwin11 shows a husky trying to wake his deaf brother. The video of the husky and Pit Bull has been liked over 456,000 times on TikTok.

In the video, the Husky can be seen sitting on the back of the couch next to his snoozing deaf brother. He taps the white Pit Bull repeatedly with his paw. The dog’s human can be heard in the background reminding the Husky that the Pit Bull is deaf and can’t hear him.

Deafness in dogs can have many reasons. Deafness can be due to age, illness, or genetic defects. White dogs are more likely to be born deaf than dogs with other coat colors. Although the TikTok video does not explain what the cause of the Pit Bull’s deafness is, it may be congenital deafness due to the dog’s coat color.
