On a spring morning in May, a family noticed a deer circling their backyard. Curiosity got the best of them and they investigated a group of boulders the deer had a keen interest in. Turns out, a fawn had fallen through a gap between the rocks and momma deer needed some help.
The family called upon Clark County Fire District 3 for a hand. Momma deer watched on as she made her rounds, fearing for her baby, but keeping her distance from the humans. This fawn rescue is complete with an adorable “microphone” holding little girl reporting at this rescue scene.
With a little bit of time and patience, the baby deer was reunited with momma. Watch their sweet, heartwarming reunion in the video below!
