Elephants are graceful, majestic, good-natured creatures that have an innate ability to inspire awe and respect in anyone who sees them. But, you might be surprised to know that the elephant’s elegance and poise usually doesn’t come until adulthood. Baby elephants are like human children in that they’re notorious for being little balls of curiosity and clumsiness that love to prance and tumble.
The adorable little baby elephant you see in the video is a great example of how similar elephants are to humans. This little tyke seems to be figuring out how to use its trunk and he’s concentrating so hard that his whole body is getting involved in the activity. Kind of reminds you of toddlers trying to figure out how to walk by using their hands doesn’t it? We dare you not to giggle watching his funny dance.
It’s so wonderful to see that this elephant calf will have the chance to grow up in the wild with his family and experience all the wonders that come with being an elephant (even if it is a little clumsy and awkward at times!).
