Pit Bull Comforts Injured Deer Until Help Arrives

Pit Bulls are incredibly misunderstood. Because of the bad reputation they have been assigned due to their use in dog-fighting rings, these breeds are considered “undesirable” and “unfit” companions for pet guardians. Most people assume that Pit Bills and Pit-mixes are naturally aggressive and vicious dogs, but this is hardly the case. These dogs are incredibly loyal and if they are properly trained and socialized, there is no reason that their temperament would be any different than that of dog of another breed.

In fact, Pit Bulls have an incredible soft side that many people never get to see. Just take a look at this Pit Bull who was featured on the Greenville News for his kind actions.

When a deer found itself trapped in a fence on the property of a local woman, Gotti the Pit Bull stepped in to provide comfort and Support for the injured animal. Gotti took to licking the deer and helped to calm the frightened animal while his guardian called an animal rescue crew.

So, next time you meet someone who thinks Pit Bulls are “naturally” vicious … just show them Gotti!
