If you were to come across Belle the Yorkshire Terrier, you might easily mistake her for a hamster. Belle, short for Tinkerbelle, is six weeks old but is around eight times smaller than she should be for a dog of this breed. While Yorkies are known for being small dogs, Belle’s case is a bit extreme.
This special little pup was born the runt of the litter and rejected by her mother soon after birth and had to be resuscitated. Against all odds, Belle was determined to live and thanks to the hard work of her guardian, Karenza Cruse, the little pup is still here and as cute as ever.
We believe in you Belle!

My Silky/Yorkie cross was this size when she was born. Now she weighs 7 1/2 lbs. She is very cute.
