Injured Dog Was Trapped on a Busy Highway – Watch What Rescuers Did to Save the Day! (VIDEO)

When Aminals Aid Unlimited in India found an emaciated and wounded dog on the side of the highway, things didn’t look promising. The rescue itself was a dangerous one, with cars and motorbikes zipping by. If the dog got spooked, it could mean the end of the road for this sweet boy. Additionally, he was clearly suffering from starvation and had an enormous wound surrounding his right ear that was infested with maggots.

The experienced volunteers at Animals Aid, however, knew exactly how to approach the situation. With the help of food, a blanket, and a gentle pat, they were able to successfully catch and transport the dog, named Earnest, to the hospital. This was the beginning of a beautiful transformation for Earnest. Once he arrived at the Animals Aid facility, his treatment began. His body was fed and strengthened and his heart was comforted and loved.

After a few months of care and recovery, Earnest transformed into a new dog. A dog with a little more pep in his step, a wagging tail, and the peace of knowing he was loved.
