Love marine life, but not into SeaWorld? Well, do we have a treat for you! This amazing footage of orca whales in the wild, captured by a crew from the Smithsonian Channel, is truly exhilarating.
Using underwater cameras, the team is able to capture these massive marine animals diving in and out of the water and chasing one another alongside their marine team’s boat. If this footage does not illustrate how playful and energetic orcas can be when in the wild, I don’t know what will.
Comparing this video with that of poor Tilikum, barely moving and bobbing up and down in his cement tank, the answer is clear: killer whales belong in the wild.
Luckily, thanks to technology, you can enjoy the majestic wonder of watching these animals without having to Support a cruel organization that holds animals captive for profit. Oh what a beautiful thing freedom is, just as these orcas!
