Jeffrey Shaun King, journalist and activist, announced via Facebook that he transitioned to a vegan diet in the new year. King is a well-known social justice activist, specifically for the Black Lives Matter movement. He currently works with the New York Daily News, is a political commentator for the Tom Joyner Morning Show, and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and their five children.
