We love when businesses express compassion for the world and use their profits to benefit others. In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, many individuals and businesses have shared their resources and opened their doors to both human and animal victims affected by the disastrous flood. And now the popular makeup brand, Lime Crime, is contributing to the cause and donating all profits of one of their best-selling lipsticks to Hurricane Harvey relief.
Lime Crime already does a great deal of good for the world on a daily basis, as their products are verified as vegan by PETA and certified as cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny, meaning no animal-derived ingredients are used and no animal tests are conducted in the production process.
One of Lime Crime’s best-sellers is their Velvetine lipstick line, which gets rave reviews from customers for being rich in pigment, transfer-resistent, and long-wearing. Their popular shade “Beet It” is a deep red hue inspired by rose petals with a formula infused with French vanilla. All profits from the sales of this particular shade will be donated to the Red Cross to aid in relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
