According to Star Magazine, Lea Michele, an outspoken vegan and animal rights supporter is rumored to have thrown a bit of a fit on set of the opener for Season 3 of Glee.
The scene called for a food fight in a cafeteria post-an impromptu performance of the song “We Got the Beat.”
According to a source on set though, Lea Michele was not happy about the fact that meatballs were being thrown at her. The producers told the rest of the actors that anyone who hurled meat product her way would be kicked off set immediately.
“Everyone armed themselves with tons of salad to throw her way,” reveals the insider.
Go Lea for taking a stand against animal cruelty!

Food fights in general are an abomination. There are millions of people going to bed hungry, yet we have food fights?
But food fights using dead animals is even worse. A sentient being had to die so that their remains could be used as an amusement?
Good! Who in the hell would want meat thrown at them?
Can’t say I’m a fan at this attention-grabbing headline, though; I almost didn’t click the link, thinking, “Great, another crazy vegan celebrity…”
No she did not throw a tantrum. She asked that meat not be thrown at her and they accommodated that request. The rest is BS. Lea even said in a interview she asked that so it isn;t like they are hiding anything.
