Raccoons are notorious for being sneaky, there’s no denying that. They even have a natural bandit mask to validate their tricky nature. These wild animals know exactly how to get their paws on the snacks they like, anyone who has woken up to a pillaged garbage can understands.
But, in the case of the raccoon in this video, stealth is clearly not a priority. He sets eyes on his target (a bowl overflowing with cat food), and jumps into action! We have to give this little guy credit for just stepping in and literally taking over the bowl of food. “Sorry kitties, you can snack later – this food is mine!”
Seeing this confident raccoon steal food without a care made us think about just how awesome raccoons are. No other creature can straight up mooch food in such a boss-like manner. Zero shame, all results.
Peace cats, you saw nothing!

This guy’s like, “Unattended basket…MINE!”

This raccoon is just a straight up boss. “I’m in your dining room, eatin’ your grapes. How much do I care? Not at all!”

“This is why I told you to splurge on the extra large popcorn, Herald!”

“So, uh…I’m going to take this, and you’re going to be okay with it.”

We have a couple of raccoons ( a pair) who visit every night. My outside cat (a stray) knows better than to mess with them. They could really do some damage since the raccoons are about twice the size the cat is. They tend to leave each other alone. Works out for evryone.
he raccoon is the boss! And the cats seem to be afraid of him!
A bit wary, but not really afraid. If they wouldn\’t be well fed and would know hunger, don\’t you worry, they would smack the hell out of this racoon. This way they can be sure of always getting enough, so they aren\’t selfish.
