Every year, thousands of poultry and pork industry workers suffer life-changing injuries—just to keep up with production speeds that are already too fast. Now, the USDA wants to increase line speeds even further. This could mean more harm, more pain, and even more deaths—all allegedly for corporate profit.
Workers in these industries already face repetitive strain injuries, carpal tunnel, and musculoskeletal disorders. On average, nearly 3 people die each year in these plants, with countless others injured.
The USDA must not be allowed to sacrifice human health for the sake of industry speed. We need urgent action to stop this reckless proposal.
Sign the petition now to demand strict protections and to halt this dangerous policy.
These workers are not disposable. Sign the petition now—their lives are worth more than profit margins.
