Many people who adopt dogs experience the uncanny feeling that they’ve found the missing piece in their life. When you adopt a dog, they become more than a pet, they are your best friend, a member of your family and so much more as well.
In return for going to the shelter and rescuing a needy pup from life in a cold, stressful kennel, you get unconditional love and endless companionship. Sounds like a pretty good deal, huh?
Well, despite all the wonderfulness that adopting a dog brings to many people’s lives, there are still MILLIONS of stray and homeless dogs in the world. To help raise awareness for all these needy pups, Battersea Cat and Dog home created a rather ingenious campaign called #LookingForYou.
Working with OglivyOne, Battersea put up a series of interactive billboards in East London’s Westfield Stratford mall. Whenever a shopper picked up a pamphlet embedded with a secret chip from Battersea, they would get followed around the mall, via billboard, by Barley the dog.
