Sweet Dog Who Was the Victim of a Hit-and-Run Accident Needs Your Help to Survive!

Rescue Dogs Rock NYC is a volunteer-run non-profit that rescues puppies and dogs all across the East Coast. When they received notice that a Pit Bull was dying on the street after being hit by a car in New York City, they went immediately to the scene to help.

The sweet dog they named Pinto managed to drag himself out of traffic after falling victim to a hit-and-run collision. Crying in pain, he curled up on the side of the road, where passersby ignored him for hours. 

Despite the excruciating pain Pinto was undoubtedly suffering, he was nothing but grateful and loving to his rescuers, showering them with kisses and cuddles.

Pinto was rushed to emergency care in Spring, Texas, where X-rays showed that Pinto had a broken leg and crushed pelvis. After 12 hours of fluids and medication, his condition needed to stabilize before he could undergo surgery.

In addition to his broken bones, Pinto has numerous cuts and abrasions that are seriously infected. Several old injuries were also discovered, evidence that he endured a rough life struggling to survive on the bustling city streets.

Seeing as Rescue Dogs Rock NYC is entirely run by volunteers, they rely on donations to fulfill their applaudable mission.
