Rescue Dogs Rock NYC is a volunteer-run non-profit that rescues puppies and dogs all across the East Coast. When they received notice that a Pit Bull was dying on the street after being hit by a car in New York City, they went immediately to the scene to help.
Seeing as Rescue Dogs Rock NYC is entirely run by volunteers, they rely on donations to fulfill their applaudable mission. If you are able, please consider making a donation to them to help cover the costs of Pinto’s emergency care, which is predicted to be upwards of several thousand dollars. Please share this story with your network and encourage your friends and family to make a donation too – every dollar helps!
If you happen to come across an injured animal like Pinto, please do not hesitate to contact a local animal rescue organization in your area to address the issue. If a kind Samaritan had not stopped to help Pinto, he would have soon succumbed to his injuries and perished on the street. The power to end animal suffering begins with you!

I just don\’t understand how anyone could walk past a hurt or abandoned animal without helping.
