Dogs are typically known for being cats’ aggressors, but in this case, the tables have turned. Despite ample room and an inviting master’s voice, Bo the golden retriever is just too scared to pass Chevy the tuxedo cat as he rests on the stairs. Why is he so afraid of him? Maybe he had a bad experience with cats in the past, but Chevy doesn’t look like much of a threat.
Fenway the German Shepard puppy isn’t afraid of Chevy. He has no problem ascending the staircase past the cat, as if to show Bo how it’s done. Chevy doesn’t seem to mind. But the golden retriever still whines and sits frozen and still.
It takes yet another creature to step in and at last coax Bo down the steps past the kitty “villain.” Watch the video to find out how he does it! We hope that Bo someday gets past his fears and makes friends with his feline housemate.
