With all the doom and gloom out there, it’s sometimes hard to believe that people can come together for a truly good thing. Yet they do, time and time again, and here’s the latest example: a young adult manatee was beached, and this group of beachgoers banded together and helped get the manatee back to the waters in which it belongs.
After spotting the beached manatee, a crowd drew around it and quickly figured out how to help. The manatee was provided oxygen from a scuba tank, protected by the crowd until wildlife officials arrived, and then eventually hauled via a giant stretcher by more than a dozen people back to the water. It’s great to see people come together to help this lovely creature, and we’d love to see even more videos of people lending a helping hand to animals in need! Keep the love coming, people!
