Dog and Puppies Abandoned to be Euthanized Get Second Shot at Life

  Boxer mix Pearl did not have an easy start to life. Most likely kept for breeding purposes, or as a junkyard dog, she was cruelly abandoned along with her puppies at a shelter. Even more heartrendingly, the person who abandoned her requested that the dog and puppies be euthanized. Luckily, Florida based Rags to Riches Animal Rescue stepped in to help the canine family. The rescue hopes that they will be able to help Pearl find a loving home to spend the rest of her life in. Although Pearl has a difficult past, a video posted to @ragstorichesanimalrescu on TikTok shows how sweet and loving she still is.

  In the video, Pearl can be seen lounging on a comfortable bed and excitedly responding to the person filming the video. Her sweet nature is definitely on display. Staff at the animal rescue say that she is a gentle soul who is good with other dogs, large or small, and even cats! Although Pearl has some skin allergies, they are currently being treated. They hope the dog and puppies will be able to find loving homes.

  The video of Pearl has currently been liked close to 8,000 times on TikTok. Comments on the video hope that Pearl will soon find a wonderful home to call her own.
