Black bear cub

A Pennsylvania park manager stumbled on a bear cub in trouble on the side of the road. The young black bear cub had their head stuck in a plastic jug. The young cub appears to be around eight months old according to the park manager. A video of the event showed what happened next.

The young bear cub can be seen lying on the side of the road with their head in a semi-transparent plastic jug at the beginning of the video. With their head in the jug, the young bear was unable to eat or drink. Their vision was also impaired. The park manager then approaches the cub and helps remove the jug from the creature’s snout by grabbing the jug and gently pulling it off. After the rescue, the bear cub climbed into a nearby tree to recuperate.
