Adorable Staffordshire Bull Terrier Refuses to Give Up Despite Over 250 Days at Shelter

Portrait of happy Staffordshire Bull Terrier smiling

Despite spending over 250 nights at the Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA), a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Domino refuses to stop smiling. The adorable pup is currently awaiting a new home after his previous human surrendered him due to no longer being able to care for the sweet dog. The DSPCA recently shared a post to their Facebook account in hopes of garnering some interest in adopting Domino.

In the post, the DSPCA shares some of Domino’s story. The two-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier was transferred to the DSPCA from the Dublin County Dog Shelter. Since arriving, he has spent more than 250 nights sleeping at the shelter. However, despite this, Domino is “putting on a brave face,” according to shelter staff. Despite getting “very down some days” the pup is a staff favorite. He is a smart boy who loves to cuddle, is “easy to walk,” and is “great in the car.” Domino is also potentially able to live with another dog, provided they are female. He is also suitable for a home with teenage children.

Domino’s sweet smile melted hearts on Facebook. “Oh my, the most beautiful smile” commented Celeste Golden. Jenny Kelly agreed, saying “So deserves his own humans…such a beautiful handsome boy.” Hopefully, the adorable Staffordshire Bull Terrier will soon have a new home to call his own!
